Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources implemented a training programme in Sharjah entitled “Artificial Intelligence” targeting National employees of various job levels from the entities, authorities and departments of the Government of Sharjah and several Federal entities.
The programme addressed many important topics, most notably the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the future jobs and the role and vision of the UAE in adopting the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the UAE strategy in artificial intelligence and its applications in the country and around the world. It also introduced the global artificial intelligence conferences and how to benefit from them, defined Artificial Intelligence, its history, types, components, objectives, languages, branches and capabilities in the future and its applications in the various sectors, as well as the smart robots and their types.
Sultan Mohammed Bin Huwaidan Alketbi, Director of the Career Development Department at the Directorate, said that Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources is focusing on raising topics on Artificial Intelligence, data employment and strategic planning, as it is aware of the huge effect of Artificial Intelligence on the future of jobs, business development and empowerment of human capital.
He confirmed that caring for the National human cadres as well as training and developing them, is one of the most important priorities and is the subject of focus of the Government of Sharjah, which seeks to implement all programmes and initiatives that develop the competencies of the human resources.
He added that the importance of training lies in its vital and active role in developing all fields, adopting creative ideas and contributing to providing the human element with the latest knowledge and theories, as well as promoting the culture of continuous learning.
